Shark Attack

This is part of a seven image series for my first illustration project of the semester. We had to fill out a lengthy questionnaire, then pick three things from our answers to use for the series. I picked jazz music, ocean life, and Victorian patterms.
I really like working with cut paper. It's so different from painting, both in mindset and execution. The only really difficult part is gluing the pieces without smudging or peeling them off. I plan to work with this process more often, because it's a total blast.
